Mojave Bloom has a full month of classes and events planned for April that you won’t want to miss!
April 12, 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM: Spring Plant Social at Mojave Bloom. We’ll have a wonderful selection of baked goods, local art, crystals, fresh flowers, body care products, herbal teas, plants, and so much more. It’s the perfect opportunity to connect with the community, bring a friend, and enjoy the vibrant, springtime atmosphere of our blooming nursery.
April 19, 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM: Las Vegas Family Spring Fling at Floyd Lamb Park! Bring the whole family for a fun-filled, free community event featuring a pet parade and contest, classic car show, arts and craft fair, pet and community vendors, jump houses, food trucks, DJ music, and family resource tables.
April 26, 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM: Earth Day & Arbor Day Celebration at Children’s Memorial Park. Celebrate Earth Day and Arbor Day with a park cleanup and tree planting!
April 27, 10:30 AM: Irrigation Basics with Norm Schilling at the nursery. This class has been highly requested and will be perfect for anyone looking to optimize their irrigation system for the upcoming warmer months. The class covers the basics of water conservation techniques, understanding soil types, and selecting the right irrigation systems for desert landscapes. Attendees will gain practical knowledge on how to maintain healthy plants while minimizing water usage, making it ideal for homeowners, landscapers, and anyone interested in creating sustainable landscapes in our dry desert.
